Meet The Chef

Chef Nico has been cooking professionally for over a decade.He started cooking at a young age with his father who served as his inspiration for him to become a chef.  At age 16, Chef Nico began laying the foundation for his lucrative and promising career in the kitchen at the world renowned Ritz-Carlton Jamaica.Though very intimidating at first, through encouragement from his then executive chef and now mentor, his tenure at The Ritz solidified his place in the hospitality field and set him on his journey to become one of the greats. Chef Nico has had the privilege of being protege to well respected chefs in the industry like April Bloomfields, Mario Frittoli and Daniel Angerer. His skills and personal cooking style were refined by the experience he received at some of New York’s finest establishments including: The Breslin, Dirty French, The Coffee Shop, Casa Nonna, BLT Steak. Chef Nico’s cooking style is pure, vibrant and resourceful. He can make the simplest ingredient taste exquisite, transforming basic ingredients into extraordinary culinary creations. He is well-versed in a wide range of culinary cuisines and methods that includes but is not limited to: Vegan/Vegetarian, Italian, French, North and South Asian, Caribbean and Mexican.
